Yes. Estimates given online or over the phone are free and carry no obligation. They are approximate, based on the information you give us.

For a firm, guaranteed price we come to the property, measure properly and quote in person. That on-site consultation is $99 plus GST, and it is credited toward your project when you go ahead.

Measuring a door opening properly takes time and it is the only way to give a price that will not move later. Charging for it keeps the visit unhurried and thorough, and the fee comes straight off your project total when you proceed — so if you go ahead, it costs you nothing.

We supply it. TheDoorPro sources, supplies and installs the door as one project. That means a single point of accountability from the door you choose to the final adjustment, and one warranty covering the whole installed result rather than a split between your supplier and your installer.

We source whichever brand suits the job and your budget, including common names such as Andersen, Larson, Masonite and JELD-WEN. Tell us what you have in mind and we will price it; if you are not sure, we will recommend something that fits the opening, the exposure and the look you are after.

Every door TheDoorPro supplies and installs is backed by a three-year warranty. Because we source and supply the materials for the work we install, that single warranty covers the complete installed result — workmanship and materials together.

It does not cover damage from misuse, accident, alteration by others or normal wear. Full terms are on our Terms page.

Yes. TheDoorPro is a registered Alberta business carrying general liability insurance, and holds a prepaid contractor licence. Every job starts with a signed contract and a clear written scope.

Yes. We install code-compliant fire-rated assemblies for legal basement suites, mechanical rooms and multi-unit properties, to permit requirements. See fire-rated doors for detail.

Both. A door that sticks, drags, will not latch or lets in a draft can very often be brought back to square and sealed properly without replacing anything. We will tell you honestly which one your door needs. See door repair.

A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or scheduling is reserved. The amount and terms are set out in your written scope of work before you sign anything.
